Russian Surfing Championship


The Russian Surfing Championship will open the sports programme of the Eastern Economic Forum. Surfing was first included at the Olympics in Tokyo 2020 and will also be a part of Paris 2024. The competition in Vladivostok will determine Russia’s best competitor at long-boarding and SUP boarding–not yet Olympic sports, but no less spectacular. The programme may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and a suitable forecast for each discipline. Please note that the development of surfing is also opening up new opportunities for tourism in the Far East. The potential of Kamchatka, Sakhalin and Primorye for surfers in the Asia-Pacific region will be discussed at EEF-2021

Sport for Life Pavilion


Participants in EEF 2021 will not only be able to try their hand at various Olympic and other sports, but will also have the chance to see rare exhibits from the Museum of Sport. Those interested will have the opportunity to set their own personal records in one or more of the “Ready for Labour and Defence” tests, part of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sport Complex. Professional judges will explain the rules.

A competition and entertainment programme to test 'Ready for Labour and Defence' will be organized for participants and guests of the Forum from 2 to 7 September. A boost of energy, a sea of emotions and a good mood are guaranteed!

2nd “Far Eastern Games” interregional festival between the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District


Teams of employees of state and municipal governments in the Far East will compete in a series of competitions, including GTO tests, 3x3 basketball, mini-football, tug of war, checkers, chess, kettlebell lifting, wrestling and table tennis.

Participants will have access to the event as a spectator with a EEF 2021 badge

WCT Pacific Ocean Cup World Curling Tour Stage


A stage of the Mixed Doubles World Curling Tour is taking place under the aegis of EEF for the second time. The tournament in Vladivostok will open the international Olympic season for this athletic discipline. National teams of China, South Korea, New Zealand, Japan and Russia are expected to take part. For Russian athletes, the Vladivostok tournament will be one of the stages of the Olympic team selection. Aide to the President of Russia Igor Levitin and President of the Russian Curling Federation Dmitry Svishchev launched construction of a Training Centre for Russian National Teams and opened a School of Curling in Vladivostok during the tournament at the EEF 2019. The topic of establishing training centres for Russian national teams in the Far East will continue to be discussed in the business programme at the EEF 2021.

Attendees of the Eastern Economic Forum are all cordially invited to join in the sports programme and round off their day with an enchanting evening. On this day at the Stroitel football pitch, you can watch a friendly and iconic confrontation between East and West.

The opening ceremony of the match will give all spectators a professional drumming show!

Roscongress Cup. Platu-25 Sailing regatta


14 teams from all over Russia, including the best professional sailors from the Far East will compete.
The competition format includes short, dynamic races. The course will be set up in front of the, close enough to the shore so that Forum guests can watch the competitors battle.
All Platu 25 class yachts in Primorye are symbolically named after Russian and foreign rock bands.
The Roscongress Foundation yacht led by Sergei Bruzga will be taking part in the competition. Sergei has medals and victories in many competitions, including several classes of racing yachts at the St. Petersburg championships. He has also participated in the Russian Championships and World Championships in the SB20 class, Commodore Cup, and Cowes Week races.
