Radio Monte Carlo Regatta


On 18 August, the traditional Radio Monte Carlo Regatta will take place in northern Moscow. Russian Media Group will host the Radio Monte Carlo Regatta for the third time. The event is part of the sports programme of the Eastern Economic Forum and will be held with the support of the Roscongress Foundation.

The regatta participants will take to the water on modern yachts, and each team will be accompanied by an experienced captain, who will make the regatta as exciting and safe as possible.

After the competition, the regatta participants and fans can attend an entertainment programme. The following artists will perform for the regatta participants:
- Latin American music star and Cuban singer Willie Key
- Alexey Chumakov
- Yulia Peresild
- the band Mandragora
The evening will conclude with a cosy open-air film screening.

The Vedomosti business regatta


The regatta will take place from August 30 to 31.

The Vedomosti business regatta continues to introduce its participants to the best waters and best yachting clubs in Russia. This season, sailing regattas were held in Sochi, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Moscow. And the final stage, supported by the Roscongress Foundation, will be held as part of the EEF Games in the Sea of Japan’s Amur Bay.
Vying to win will be corporate and mixed teams of businesspeople who spend their occasional days off conquering the waves and taming the winds, people who value solidarity and friendship.
One goal of the regatta is to promote amateur sailing and develop coastal infrastructure as an incentive to domestic aquatic eco-tourism.
The business regatta will offer its participants valuable networking opportunities and unforgettable moments in an atmosphere of athletic competition and drive.

3rd ‘Ready for Labour and Defence Games’ Open Far East Cup 2024


The EEF will host the ‘Ready for Labour and Defence Games’ Open Far East Cup for the third year in a row. This year, the games will feature 11 teams of schoolchildren and 11 adult teams from the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, as well as approximately 120 athletes (men and women) who will take part in individual competitions in the categories ‘Amateurs’ (21–39 years old), ‘Professionals’ (21–39 years old), and ‘Masters’ (40+ years old).

The competition will last for six days at Sports Arena, which will once again become a big draw on ‘Far East Street’ exhibition. The best representatives of the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, as well as multiple winners and runners-up of the ‘Ready for Labour and Defence Games’, will get together in Vladivostok.

Last year, the Sakhalin Region won the adult team competitions among the regions, and the Primorsky Territory won the competition among schoolchildren’s teams. Who will win this year? We’ll find out at the EEF 2024.

Keep Fit Marathon for Vladivostok Schoolchildren


Eight Olympic and World champions will be running fitness classes for schoolchildren in Vladivostok and Russky Island.

Some 1,500 children in these regions will start the school day with keep fit routines led by Svetlana Romashina (synchronized swimming), Oleg Saitov (boxing), Yana Egorian (fencing), Nikita Nagornyy (gymnastics), Anna Shcherbakova (figure skating), Alexander Legkov (cross-country skiing), Raimkul Malakhbekov (boxing), and Daria Nagornaya (gymnastics).

These sports superstars will show the children that exercise can be fun and exciting. The kids will also have the chance to chat with the athletes and get their autographs.

The project is being organized by the “Healthy Fatherland” All-Russian Public Movement with the support of the sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation in cooperation with the Government of Primorsky Krai and the Administration of Vladivostok

The keep fit classes with champions are open not only to secondary school students, but also to youth members of sports clubs located near them, including children of citizens taking part in the special military operation.

Forum participants and residents of Vladivostok will run 5 km.

The opening ceremony of the race will begin at 6:10 at the Primorsky Aquarium.

The star athletes will warm up before the start.

The winners will be determined both among the Forum participants and among city residents.

You can also register your company’s team for the race. 7 people can be included in the application, but the 5 best results will be taken into account for the corporate classification.

The race is organized by the sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation and the League of Heroes.

The EEF will hold the eighth Roscongress Cup Platu-25-class yacht regatta. Over three days, 14 professional teams will compete in nine races in the Amur Bay, hugging the coast as close as possible.
The Alisa (Captain Vladimir Yermakov), the Depeche Mode (Captain Valeriy Dichenko), and the ZZ Top (Captain Nikolay Korolyov), acknowledged leaders in their class, will fight the waves and the wind in their efforts to win.
Platu-25 is an international yacht class approved by the World Sailing Federation. This class has excellent maneuverability and speed, as the Forum’s participants and people of Vladivostok will see for themselves.

Once again, The Evening League is bringing together Forum participants and table tennis lovers from the Far East.
The Evening League players lead by example, showing that no matter how senior your position and how tight your schedule, you can still find time for your favorite sport.
Table tennis competitions have become a tradition at Forums organized by the Roscongress Foundation, and they invariably enjoy great popularity.
This doubles tournament will be held on the Far Eastern Federal University campus.
Admission is by invitation.

Hockey gala match


The EEF will feature a gala game held under the auspices of the Made in Russia brand. Hockey legends will help showcase Russian-made goods for international audiences.
Two-time Olympic champions Vyacheslav Fetisov, Alexey Kasatonov and Alexander Yakushev, Olympic champions Vyacheslav Butsaev, Valeriy Kamensky, Ilya Kovalchuk and Vitaly Prokhorov, and three-time World Champion and three-time Stanley Cup winner Sergey Fedorov will take to the ice at this event.
This game will support The Last Game initiative for pooling efforts in nature conservation. It will continue the Russian Commodities for Champions event series organized by the Russian Export Centre.
The campaign was launched in September 2023 at the International Rowing Regatta, which was also held as part of the EEF Games. Since then, high-ranking Russian rowers, curlers, figure skaters, and hockey players have been engaged in promoting the campaign.

The EFF will feature the Pacific Cup international mixed doubles curling tournament.
The tournament will inaugurate the Ice House curling arena built on instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Construction was launched at the 2018 Eastern Economic Forum.
Russia’s best curling players will compete at the new arena. Kira Ezekh, Russia’s most decorated curling player, three-time European champion, four-time world curling champion, and her partner Oleg Krasikov, will play against Alexander Yeremin, winner of the world curling bronze medal, and Valeria Denisenko.
The Tournament’s organizers are working on bringing international star players to the tournament. They expect to invite winners of the World Tour, athletes who competed in the European and World Curling Championships.
“Mixed doubles” became an Olympic sport in 2015 and is deemed the most spectacular form of curling.

Yakut Pacific Frontier multi-sport competition

Athletes from different regions of Russia and Mongolia will showcase their skills in traditional Yakut types of competitions and test their endurance, speed, flexibility, and agility, which are all inherent in true Yakut warriors.
The audience will have a chance to watch the contestants take part in mas-wrestling and Yakut “tutum ergiir” spinning and run with a 100 kg sandbag, as well as learn about the different kinds of Yakut jumps and numerous other interesting things about other types of physical activities among the people of northern Russia.

The Far Eastern Federal University Library will once again serve as the venue for EEF chess events.

A breathtaking panoramic view of the Peter the Great Bay from the 11th floor will be the backdrop for matches between Forum participants, who, for their part, will not have time to admire the Far Eastern landscapes due to their intense battle for the Roscongress Cup.

3rd International Vladivostok Regatta


The EEF will include the 3rd International Vladivostok Regatta, offering the Far East coastal rowing, a spectacular new sport with excellent potential.
Teams from Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Iran, Serbia and Uzbekistan will race along Yubileynaya Embankment in central Vladivostok, attracting even bigger audiences, including Forum participants.
The athletes will use special boats with excellent seafaring and speed capabilities. Match TV commentator Dmitry Guberniev will describe the event in his trademark flamboyant style.
The regatta will also feature an indoor rowing competition: a 2,000-metre race along the Yubileynaya Embankment and the Grand Prix at the Ajax Bay Embankment.

Hydroflight show


The EEF Games will conclude with a bang: a hydroflight show featuring extreme flying over water, difficult acrobatics, and mesmerizing special effects in night-time Vladivostok.
Russia’s best athletes will demonstrate their incredible skills at the Tsesarevich Embankment. The Forum’s attendees and Vladivostok residents will see breathtaking flyboard and aquabike performances.
Athletes’ LED costumes, equipped with cold sparklers and flares, will create an additional wow effect.

Clean Games


As part of the Youth Day at the Eastern Economic Forum 2024, an ecological team competition called Clean Games will take place. Students from Vladivostok State University and representatives from businesses will participate in collecting and sorting waste, as well as competing for prizes and making valuable connections during the game. A coffee break will be organized. The winners will receive prizes.
After the event, participants will be offered the opportunity to try their hand at paddleboarding and kayaking.

The event was organized by the public organization “Clean Games” together with Vladivostok State University (VVSU) with the support of the Ministry of Development of the Far East and Arctic of the Russian Federation.

The competition will be opened by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Viktorovna Petrova.

EEF Show Jumping Cup


The EEF Show Jumping Cup is expanding its presence in the Far East. This year, the tournament’s finals will take place in both Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
The athletes selected at the qualifiers will first compete on 9 August in the Sakhalin District. The island’s unique nature and inconsistent weather will make this an intriguing and unpredictable event.
The second final round will take place in Vladivostok on 7 September, expanding the sizable list of horse tournaments held under the auspices of the Roscongress Foundation.
