International Go Tournament for the 5th Eastern Economic Forum anniversary Cup

Go is a genuine business tool that brings Asian elites together in an informal environment. For Russian business representatives, Go is a key to successful negotiations and partnership on Eastern markets.
Among the delegates and honourary guests of the tournament are heads of Korean Go associations, as well as members of Indian Go Business Club, who came to Russia for the first time to take part in the competition.
Apart from the classic tournament, honourary guests will test VR-Go and hold the first virtual game ever.
During the breaks between games, players and businessmen from Far Eastern regions will hold workshops on Go strategic principles, while the members of the organizing committee – Sergey Gorkov, General Director of Rosgeologia, and Vitaliy Nesis, CEO of Polymetal International – will set the countdown timer for the 41th World Go Championship that will take place in Vladivostok in 2020.
