Tourists come here to see beautiful natural landscapes, miraculously preserved Old Believer villages and numerous datsans (Buddhist monasteries). Buryatia owns 60% of the coastline of the famous Lake Baikal with its clear water, sandy beaches and stunning landscapes.
Major investment projects are being developed in the region, and the republic ranks 3rd in the Far Eastern Federal District and 9th in the country in terms of investment growth rates.

Baikal Tourism Scheme. How to unite the two shores of the sacred lake


Baikal is one of the most amazing places of our planet, every Russian must come here at least once in his life. In order to create conditions for comfortable, varied in content and price travel, a tourist development scheme or tourist master plan "Baikal" is being developed.
What are the goals of the project and what tasks does it solve? What will its implementation give to tourists, residents of the Baikal regions and the sacred lake itself? These and many other questions will be answered by the scheme developers and representatives of the regions participating in the project.

Trans-Baikal Territory


Trans-Baikal Territory is the youngest region of Russia, formed in 2007. The region is famous for its amazing nature, rich history and interesting cultural heritage. At present, its territory is becoming increasingly attractive for investment, and the region is among the subjects of the Russian Federation that have made the greatest progress in the national investment climate rating. Investments in the Trans-Baikal Territory last year reached 32% of the gross regional product, which ensures medium-term GRP growth of 8%.

Presentation of the Chukotka Autonomous Region


Chukotka ranked first among the Far East regions in terms of investment growth for 2022. Today, it is the only region in the country with three special preferential regimes for business: the Chukotka Advanced Development Territory, the Free Port of Vladivostok and the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation.
Over the past year, residents have invested over 50 billion roubles in the district's economy and created 1,000 new jobs. Business support is not limited to working with large investors. The District is implementing a regional anti-crisis package of measures to support small and medium-sized businesses in the context of sanctions restrictions, which includes the extension of tax breaks, an increase in the amount of direct financial support and the actualisation of repayment measures.
