Yakutia occupies about 20 per cent of Russia's area and is larger than Argentina and all Scandinavian countries combined.
In five years, the Sakha Republic has risen from 52nd to 15th place among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the National Investment Climate Rating. Behind these figures are impressive practical results: Russia's largest region has become the country's leader in terms of industrial production growth and income growth.

On 26 August 2023, well-known bloggers and journalists from the federal media set off on the "Discover the Far East" motor rally. On their way from the Republic of Buryatia to Primorsky Krai, they visited key enterprises of residents of the Territories of Advanced Development (TAD) and the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV). The travellers also met with participants of the Hectar, Far Eastern Mortgage, and Muravyov-Amursky 2030 programmes, talked to migrants under labour mobility programmes, and visited the Far East's landmark megaprojects and tourist attractions.
The finish of the rally is timed to coincide with the opening of the Eastern Economic Forum, where the participants will share their impressions and media materials of their journey.
