the Pacific Cup international curling tournament


The EFF will feature the Pacific Cup international mixed doubles curling tournament.
The tournament will inaugurate the Ice House curling arena built on instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Construction was launched at the 2018 Eastern Economic Forum.
Russia’s best curling players will compete at the new arena. Kira Ezekh, Russia’s most decorated curling player, three-time European champion, four-time world curling champion, and her partner Oleg Krasikov, will play against Alexander Yeremin, winner of the world curling bronze medal, and Valeria Denisenko.
The Tournament’s organizers are working on bringing international star players to the tournament. They expect to invite winners of the World Tour, athletes who competed in the European and World Curling Championships.
“Mixed doubles” became an Olympic sport in 2015 and is deemed the most spectacular form of curling.

Yakut Pacific Frontier multi-sport competition


Yakut Pacific Frontier multi-sport competition

Athletes from different regions of Russia and Mongolia will showcase their skills in traditional Yakut types of competitions and test their endurance, speed, flexibility, and agility, which are all inherent in true Yakut warriors.
The audience will have a chance to watch the contestants take part in mas-wrestling and Yakut “tutum ergiir” spinning and run with a 100 kg sandbag, as well as learn about the different kinds of Yakut jumps and numerous other interesting things about other types of physical activities among the people of northern Russia.

EEF International Parade of Sails


Large sail training ships, international teams and guests of honor will assemble in the Amur Bay for the EEF International Parade of Sails.
The event will feature a gala performance by sailing ships and five sailing regattas, including the Roscongress Foundation Cup, the Far East Cup along the Qingdao (China) – Vladivostok (Russia) – Qingdao (China) route, and the ART regatta.
The Parade of Sails is organized by the Sail Training Ships Association (Russia) with support from the Roscongress Foundation.

Roscongress Cup Parade of Sails Platu-25-class yacht regatta


The EEF will hold the eighth Roscongress Cup Platu-25-class yacht regatta. Over three days, 14 professional teams will compete in nine races in the Amur Bay, hugging the coast as close as possible.
The Alisa (Captain Vladimir Yermakov), the Depeche Mode (Captain Valeriy Dichenko), and the ZZ Top (Captain Nikolay Korolyov), acknowledged leaders in their class, will fight the waves and the wind in their efforts to win.
Platu-25 is an international yacht class approved by the World Sailing Federation. This class has excellent maneuverability and speed, as the Forum’s participants and people of Vladivostok will see for themselves.

Roscongress Chess Cup


The Far Eastern Federal University Library will once again serve as the venue for EEF chess events.

A breathtaking panoramic view of the Peter the Great Bay from the 11th floor will be the backdrop for matches between Forum participants, who, for their part, will not have time to admire the Far Eastern landscapes due to their intense battle for the Roscongress Cup.

The event is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation’s sports platform RC Sport.

III International Chess Tournament for the EEV Cup


Once again, star chess players will assemble for the International Chess Tournament at the Far Eastern Federal University library, which has panoramic views of the Peter the Great Bay.
Current Russian champion Vladislav Artemiev will return to Russky Island to defend his title. Valentina Gunina, Europe’s first-ever three-time champion and two-time world blitz champion will be his principal rival.

3rd International Vladivostok Regatta


The EEF will include the 3rd International Vladivostok Regatta, offering the Far East coastal rowing, a spectacular new sport with excellent potential.
Teams from Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Iran, Serbia and Uzbekistan will race along Yubileynaya Embankment in central Vladivostok, attracting even bigger audiences, including Forum participants.
The athletes will use special boats with excellent seafaring and speed capabilities. Match TV commentator Dmitry Guberniev will describe the event in his trademark flamboyant style.
The regatta will also feature an indoor rowing competition: a 2,000-metre race along the Yubileynaya Embankment and the Grand Prix at the Ajax Bay Embankment.

Hydroflight show


The EEF Games will conclude with a bang: a hydroflight show featuring extreme flying over water, difficult acrobatics, and mesmerizing special effects in night-time Vladivostok.
Russia’s best athletes will demonstrate their incredible skills at the Tsesarevich Embankment. The Forum’s attendees and Vladivostok residents will see breathtaking flyboard and aquabike performances.
Athletes’ LED costumes, equipped with cold sparklers and flares, will create an additional wow effect.
