The Territory of Innovations programme will be held 10–13 September in Vladivostok as part of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum. The Territory of Innovations is a platform for dialogue and discussions of trends with leading experts who will help innovators evaluate the prospects for their development. The Territory of Innovations project is aimed to support young scientists, inventors, developers and intends to shape a generation of tech entrepreneurs in Russia.
“To ensure Russia's competitiveness in the long term, an innovative system must be created. This system will become the technological, normative and cultural basis for future advancement. The Territory of Innovations project, which was first presented during SPIEF 2018, will become the official programme of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum,” emphasized Anton Kobyakov, Executive Secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee.
The programme include a series of business sessions with Russian and international investors, top managers of large corporations, representatives of investment and venture funds who will learn about the projects to find start-ups for investment.
Creators of the most promising projects will have an opportunity to talk directly to the representatives of development institutions that support innovation and acceleration programmes of corporate partners and investments. Participants, who passed the competitive selection, will have an opportunity to participate in the EEF 2018 events for free.

Bahrain Joins Framework Declaration on Conservation of Gyrfalcons
The Kingdom of Bahrain has become the seventh country to join the Declaration of Intent for the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon Population. The document was adopted by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and the UAE as part the Falcon Day International Forum, which was first held in Vladivostok during the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. The event was managed by the Roscongress Foundation.

Moscow discussed promoting the potential of the Republic of Kalmykia for its development
A meeting between Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, and Batu Khasikov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, was held in Moscow to discuss the implementation of a number of key projects and programmes designed to create a long-term basis for the structural development of the economy of the Republic of Kalmykia and the Caspian region.
