Regional Session of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum to Present the Tourist Potential of Kamchatka

On 14–17 September in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky the regional session of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum ‘Kamchatka Krai: Visitors welcome. Prospects for Developing Regional Tourism’ will present the tourist potential of Kamchatka.

The Kamchatka Krai is one of the rapidly developing regions of the Far East with great investment opportunities. Kamchatka has not only recreational, but also rich water-biological resources. The variety of landscapes of the region allows developing different kinds of tourism, which, in turn, makes it possible to call the Krai one of the leading tourist centres in Russia.

The business programme of the regional session includes a presentation of the tourist potential of the Kamchatka Krai, including promising investment projects and new dimensions of tourist development, such as health, ethnographic and event tourism.

As a part of the cultural programme, participants will learn about the traditions of the peoples of Kamchatka, taste local cuisine, see natural iconic sights of the Kamchatka Krai, including volcanoes, the Three Brothers rocks in Avacha Bay, the Valley of Geysers and the Kuril Lake.

Top management of large corporations, heads and representatives of investment and venture funds, banks and other financial institutions, public figures and leaders of industry associations and unions are invited to participate in the regional session. The participants of the event will be able to see the abundance and beauty of Kamchatka’s nature, get acquainted with its investment potential, and establish contacts with potential business partners.
