The INNOSOCIUM
Foundation for the Promotion of Social Development and the Presidential Grants
Foundation signed a cooperation agreement at the Roscongress Foundation’s
Building Trust Area during the Eastern Economic Forum 2019. The document was
signed by Roscongress Foundation Deputy CEO and Innosocium Director Elena
Marinina and Presidential Grants Foundation Executive Director Anton Dolgov.
The thematic Building
Trust Area, a unique platform that unites the Innovation Space and the
Roscongress Foundation’s Innosocium LAB, will be operating at the Eastern
Economic Forum 2019 on 3–6 September. The main theme of the EEF 2019 is a
search for new solutions to accelerate economic growth, improve quality of
life, and develop business and international cooperation.
The agreement aims to
continue the successful joint work that the Innosocium Foundation and the
Presidential Grants Foundation have carried out to promote the development of
socially significant projects and initiatives, reduce barriers for the
activities of NPOs, provide comprehensive support as well as promote and
disseminate best practices and technologies for their implementation.
“The Presidential
Grants Foundation is actively collaborating with the Roscongress Foundation and
the Innosocium Foundation. As part of the Building Trust Area programme at the
EEF 2019, the Presidential Grants Foundation presented some successful
initiatives that are markedly changing the life of the regions of the Russian
Far East for the better. It is important to note that almost 230 social and
cultural projects that have received presidential grants are currently being
implemented in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District and another 270
have already been completed. The agreement we have signed with the Innosocium
Foundation at the EEF 2019 will expand the existing partnership and provide a
good basis for new joint projects”, Dolgov said.
“The Far Eastern region
is taking on an increasing level of strategic importance, both in terms of
resource support and innovative technological development. This year marks the
first time that we have presented the thematic Building Trust Area on the
sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum. As part of this platform, we are
continuing our work to introduce and strengthen the social agenda and create a
social ecosystem in all regions of the Russian Federation. A systematic
approach to building innovative infrastructure in order to facilitate the
implementation of socially significant projects in the Far East is one of the
most important objectives for us. Signing the agreement with the Presidential
Grants Foundation marks the continuation of joint work to support social
projects within the framework of the Innosocium Foundation as well as an
important step in creating conditions for successful cooperation between NGOs
and representatives of business and the government”, Marinina said.
