    The Yakut-Sakha Information Agency (YSIA) is the largest news agency in Yakutia. Founded on August 31, 1991, it is also the first news agency in the Far East of Russia.
    YSIA has been a long-time leader in citation among the media in Yakutia and serves as the primary source of information for newspapers, radio and television broadcasts, information websites in the republic, the Far East, and Russia.
    The YSIA photo chronicle service provides photographs to district, city and republican media, Russian and foreign publications, participates in publishing photo albums, and holds photo exhibitions. The YSIA archive contains tens of thousands of photographs that reflect all significant events for the republic and the country taken by YSIA photographers over the past decades.
  • Buryad Unen publishing house

    The Buryad Unen publishing house was founded in 2001 on the basis of the merger of the editorial offices of two state newspapers: the first and oldest newspaper in Buryatia - Buryad Unen, which was published in 1921 (in the Buryat language) and the republican socio-political newspaper Buryatia, which has been published since January 1991 (in Russian). Currently, the Buryad Unen Publishing House, in addition to two newspapers, also publishes two literary and artistic magazines - Baikal (in Russian) and Baigal (in Buryat).
    The newspapers cover the social, economic and political aspects of the life of the republic. Materials on the language and culture of the Buryats are published. The magazines publish works by Buryat and Russian writers, as well as other countries, works of art, publications on socially significant topics, environmental, national, cultural and other aspects.
