The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation are working together to implement the Muravyov-Amursky 2030 Management Programme, providing training for civil servants and development institutions in the Russian Far East.

A meeting has been held in Moscow between Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the ‘Arctic – Territory of Dialogue’ International Arctic Forum, and Andrey Chibis, Governor of the Murmansk Region.

Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov held a meeting with Conoscere Eurasia Association President Antonio Fallico in Moscow at which they discussed prospects for trade and economic relations in the Greater Eurasia space and identified opportunities for cooperation between Russian and European businesses on the sidelines of international forums.

During his official visit to Vietnam, which took place on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin invited representatives and investors of Vietnam to Russia, namely to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Eastern Economic Forum.

In accordance with the instructions issued by the President of the Russian Federation following the 2024 Eastern Economic Forum on 9 November 2024, the Roscongress Foundation has prepared an analytical report* on the results of the event, held in Vladivostok on 3–6 September.

On December 12, the first offsite session promoting Russia's business and investment potential was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Thailand.

On December 10, the first Offsite Session to promote Russia's business and investment potential took place in Istanbul, Turkey, organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey. Turkish and Russian business associations, business representatives, and government officials discussed ways to expand bilateral trade through new investment projects and product opportunities.

The programme for a visiting session to be held on 10 December in Istanbul has been published. The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Türkiye.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a list of instructions following the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) 2024 in Vladivostok on 3–6 September.

“The landmark 10th Anniversary Eastern Economic Forum, scheduled for 3 to 6 September 2025, will showcase what has been accomplished over the years while also creating new ‘points of growth’ for the economy in the Far East and the country as a whole. The State Programme for the Socioeconomic Development of the Far Eastern Federal District in conjunction with wise decisions made by the Russian President on the sidelines of the EEF have changed the region over time and impacted the economy in the Asia-Pacific region. Everyone who has participated in the event has helped forge economic, social, and cultural ties within the Far Eastern Federal District and with foreign partners, making the Forum into a powerful economic bridgehead from which to strengthen relations with our neighbours in the region,” Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.

Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov met with Sakhalin Governor Valery Limarenko in Moscow to discuss long-term cooperation between the Roscongress Foundation and Sakhalin Region on the development of forum and exhibition activities until 2035.

During 2024, the Roscongress Foundation actively promoted the implementation of the national project ‘Data Economy’. Discussions on the prospects for its development were organized at leading business platforms together with the Association of Data Processing Centres.

At the meeting of the Far Eastern Federal District Council held under the leadership of Yury Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD), the Far Eastern regions that presented the best expositions at the Far East Street exhibition in September this year were announced.

The experts of the Roscongress Foundation prepared a review report entitled ‘EEF 2024 Business Programme. Results’. It contains key data on the events of the Eastern Economic Forum, which took place in Vladivostok from 3 to 6 September 2024. EEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

Qatar joined the Framework Declaration of Intent on the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon Population during the second Falcon Day International Forum. India’s accession to the Declaration is also under consideration following an Indian delegation’s participation in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) 2024. In addition, Saudi Arabia has announced its willingness to accede to the document. Representatives of the Saudi Ministry of Internal Affairs announced plans to replenish the breeding stock of the Kamchatka Falcon Centre and present Russia with the first pair of gyrfalcons to preserve biodiversity.
