Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev chaired a meeting in Vladivostok on preparations in the lead-up to the 10th Eastern Economic Forum, which is scheduled to take place on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University on 3–6 September. The EEF is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

The Kamchatka Falconry Centre, a resident of the Kamchatka Advanced Development Territory (ADT), and the Kamchatka Tourism Industry Association (KTIA), which unites 59 companies in the region’s tourism industry, signed a cooperation agreement that provides for the inclusion of the Centre’s excursion programmes in the region’s eco-routes. The agreement was the result of an earlier general meeting of KTIA members, which discussed the development of the tourism industry in Kamchatka Territory.

As part of the Russia–Indonesia Business Forum in Jakarta, the Eastern Economic Forum held a travelling session entitled ‘Expanding Business Interaction through the Mechanisms of Scientific and Educational Partnership between the Russian Far East and Indonesia’.

The 2nd Russian-Chinese Construction Forum and Exhibition of Construction Achievements will take place on 24–25 May 2025 at the AmurExpo Russian-Chinese Economic Forum in Blagoveshchensk, Russia. The AmurExpo is an offsite venue for the Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held on 3–6 September in Vladivostok. The EEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

Russia and China will simultaneously host the AmurExpo Russian-Chinese Economic Forum (AEF) on 22–25 May 2025. The AEF is an offsite platform of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), which will take place on 3–6 September in Vladivostok. The EEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation are working together to implement the Muravyov-Amursky 2030 Management Programme, providing training for civil servants and development institutions in the Russian Far East.

A meeting has been held in Moscow between Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the ‘Arctic – Territory of Dialogue’ International Arctic Forum, and Andrey Chibis, Governor of the Murmansk Region.

Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov held a meeting with Conoscere Eurasia Association President Antonio Fallico in Moscow at which they discussed prospects for trade and economic relations in the Greater Eurasia space and identified opportunities for cooperation between Russian and European businesses on the sidelines of international forums.

During his official visit to Vietnam, which took place on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin invited representatives and investors of Vietnam to Russia, namely to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Eastern Economic Forum.

In accordance with the instructions issued by the President of the Russian Federation following the 2024 Eastern Economic Forum on 9 November 2024, the Roscongress Foundation has prepared an analytical report* on the results of the event, held in Vladivostok on 3–6 September.

On December 12, the first offsite session promoting Russia's business and investment potential was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Thailand.

On December 10, the first Offsite Session to promote Russia's business and investment potential took place in Istanbul, Turkey, organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey. Turkish and Russian business associations, business representatives, and government officials discussed ways to expand bilateral trade through new investment projects and product opportunities.

The programme for a visiting session to be held on 10 December in Istanbul has been published. The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Türkiye.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a list of instructions following the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) 2024 in Vladivostok on 3–6 September.

“The landmark 10th Anniversary Eastern Economic Forum, scheduled for 3 to 6 September 2025, will showcase what has been accomplished over the years while also creating new ‘points of growth’ for the economy in the Far East and the country as a whole. The State Programme for the Socioeconomic Development of the Far Eastern Federal District in conjunction with wise decisions made by the Russian President on the sidelines of the EEF have changed the region over time and impacted the economy in the Asia-Pacific region. Everyone who has participated in the event has helped forge economic, social, and cultural ties within the Far Eastern Federal District and with foreign partners, making the Forum into a powerful economic bridgehead from which to strengthen relations with our neighbours in the region,” Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.
