During his official visit to Vietnam, which
took place on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of
diplomatic relations between the two countries, Prime Minister of the Russian
Federation Mikhail Mishustin invited representatives and investors of
Vietnam to Russia, namely to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
and the Eastern Economic Forum. He said this during a meeting with
representatives of Russian and Vietnamese business circles.
"I would like to invite Vietnamese
investors to Russia. And, of course, we invite Vietnamese representatives to
the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in the summer and the Eastern
Economic Forum in Vladivostok this autumn," the Russian Prime Minister
said. The Prime Minister emphasized that SPIEF and the Eastern Economic Forum
are points of attraction for business communities from various countries.
Mikhail Mishustin also added that Russia is creating "opportunities for active
work for foreign companies that share our values to come and actively work in
the Russian market on mutually beneficial terms. I am sure our Vietnamese
friends will be interested to take part in these events and expand their
business contacts," he said.
The Russian business mission to Vietnam was
attended by Alexander Stuglev, Chairman and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation,
who confirmed the readiness of key Russian business venues to receive guests
from Vietnam at the highest level.
"Representatives of Vietnam
annually take part in the forums organized by the Roscongress Foundation. We
are pleased to expand our bilateral co-operation. I am confident that our
business, congress and exhibition venues will provide Vietnamese partners with
the most comfortable conditions to promote and implement their business
projects," Alexander Stuglev said.
The St. Petersburg International Economic
Forum will be held from 18 to 21 June. The tenth anniversary Eastern Economic
Forum will be held in Vladivostok from 3 to 6 September.
