You can find out about other Roscongress Foundation events here.

    • Every year, the Eastern Economic Forum serves as a platform for the discussion of key issues in the world economy, regional integration, and the development of new industrial and technological sectors, as well as of the global challenges facing Russia and other nations.

Events at the Forum traditionally take place in the form of panel sessions, roundtables, televised debates, business breakfasts, and business dialogues devoted to Russia’s relationships with various countries. The Forum involves a number of business dialogues with leading partner countries in the Asia-Pacific region, such as India, China, South Korea, Japan, and Mongolia, as well as with ASEAN, which is a key integration organization of dynamically developing nations in Southeast Asia. The Forum serves a special platform for the presentation of major investment projects being implemented in the Far Eastern Federal District.

A plenary session entitled ‘The Russian Far East: Creating a New Reality’, featuring President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-In, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe, was the key event of the 2017 Forum. The EEF 2017 programme is available in the Programme 2017 section of the official Forum website.

    • The aim of the exhibitions at EEF 2018 is to attract investors to the Russian Far East.

The EEF 2018 exhibition space will include presentations about specific advanced special socioeconomic zones, investment projects, and measures being undertaken by federal and regional authorities to develop the socioeconomic, demographic, and investment potential of the Far Eastern Federal District.
