The Interactive Map of Russian Regions is a unique space at EEF allowing visitors to take a virtual tour through the country. The map appears as a large banner construction, and is located on level C6.
Visitors can scan the QR code and then point their smartphone camera at the map, which will then display virtual emblems of each region. The user can then select an emblem to view video clips. This way, visitors can learn about the tourist and investment potential of each of Russia’s regions. They can also find out about local brands and production facilities, examine economic accomplishments, and view famous natural landmarks.
“The Interactive Map of Russian Regions offers a showcase of the achievements and values of all 89 of the country’s regions. Thanks to MARMA relevant technologies lab, visitors can view videos on the map demonstrating the uniqueness of regional brands and enterprises. In addition, the map provides information about various regions’ natural riches, historical and cultural values, and tourist and investment potential. Just pointing the smartphone camera at the stand, visitors can embark on this virtual tour around all of Russia’s regions. Welcome!” – the team of MARMA.
The map was created in collaboration with the Embroidered Map of Russia national project.
