NEW COAL TERMINAL TO INVEST RUB 60 BILLION IN VLADIVOSTOK FREE PORT

The New Coal Terminal company is planning to invest RUB 60 billion over five years as part of the Vladivostok Free Port project, the official website of the Primorsky Territory Administration reports.

New terminals will be built in Nakhodka and Partizansk District, both located in Primorsky Territory. The project sets out the creation of a special cargo complex for coal transshipment. Coal will be brought to the site by rail before being exported to countries in the Asia-Pacific Region.

The project is expected to lead to the creation of more than 450 jobs. The facility will comply with all applicable environmental standards and will pose no environmental hazard either to the inhabitants of Primorsky Territory or to the surrounding ecosystem as a whole.
