Young Leaders to Meet at EEF 2021

EEF Junior, the youth segment of the 6th Eastern Economic Forum, will take place on 2–4 September in Vladivostok. It will bring together high school students, global business leaders and public officials.

This event is organized by the Content Foundation for the Development of Expert and Analytical Activity. It will host EEF Junior in Vladivostok as part of the Junior Point project supported by the Ministry of Enlightenment of the Russian Federation, the Roscongress Foundation, the Kruzhok movement, and Innopraktika (a non-state development institution), the National Cultural Heritage Foundation, and Synergy Corporation.

Elena Sokolova, Director of the Content Foundation, highlighted the importance of the event: “Evidently, a response to global challenges takes fresh and bold ideas. We would like to create a space where the future generation would actively participate in shaping social and economic change. Developing the Far East and boosting its potential are among the priority tasks of our country and other states of the region. Representatives of the younger generation will take part in addressing this task. Young leaders will define the life of the region in 10–15 years. This is why they need to be integrated in the social and economic agenda as soon as possible”.

EEF Junior will bring together school students, renowned entrepreneurs and public officials. Together they will address the integration of younger generations into the EEF global agenda. The EEF Junior business programme will include panel sessions and strategic discussions that will cover such topics as development of vocational training (with support from the Ministry of Enlightenment of the Russian Federation);  employment in Far Eastern industrial corporations (with support from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation); the impact new cultural spaces have on regional development (with support from the National Cultural Heritage Foundation); support ecosystems for youth start-ups in Russia and abroad.
