JGC Corporation and Hokuto Social Medical Corporation are in the final stages of establishing a medical rehabilitation institution in Vladivostok. As part of the Japanese Investor Day that started in the Primorsky Krai on Monday, 18 December, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev had a working meeting with JGC Corporation Chairman and CEO Sato Masayuki. Acting Primorsky Krai Governor Andrei Tarasenko took part in the talks.
The new medical institution, which will help further develop Primorsky Krai’s healthcare, is scheduled to open in Vladivostok in the first half of 2018.

Bahrain Joins Framework Declaration on Conservation of Gyrfalcons
The Kingdom of Bahrain has become the seventh country to join the Declaration of Intent for the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon Population. The document was adopted by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and the UAE as part the Falcon Day International Forum, which was first held in Vladivostok during the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. The event was managed by the Roscongress Foundation.

Concerts by the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra and virtuoso pianist, People’s Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev will be held at the Vladivostok Seasons Culture Festival as part of the Eastern Economic Forum 2024. The Eastern Economic Forum 2024 is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
