SERGEI DONSKOI: NATIONAL PARKS AND RESERVES OF THE FAR EAST TO BE PRESENTED AT THE EASTERN ECONOMIC FORUM

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation talked about his view of the Far East region’s potential.

 The Eastern Economic Forumном will include a bid exposition of nature use opportunities, according to Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation Sergei Donskoi speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“Virtually all the major mineral extraction projects will be presented, both current and future ones. As well as specially protected territories, such as national parks and reserves located in the Far East. We are counting on as many more tourist as possible hearing about these unique places.”

During the Forum, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation will also present ecological tourism projects.

“The investment potential and economy of the Far East is based on its unique natural potential. It is the region’s natural resources that allow economic and environmental goals to be combined there,” Mr. Donskoi told at the Open Studio of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
