President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a welcoming address to the guests and participants of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum, which is to take place on 11–13 September in Vladivostok.
The President of Russia noted that over time the Forum became a popular platform where direct dialogue is held between politicians and public figures, businesspersons and experts, and emphasised that this year representative delegations from over sixty states are to attend the event.
The greeting of the President of the Russian Federation reads in part:
“The topic of this year’s meeting is ‘The Far East: Expanding The Range of Possibilities’ shows our desire for closer integration of Russia into the system of economic ties in vast Asia–Pacific Region. To promote business initiatives in the Far Eastern regions, we have established priority development areas with incentives for companies, for launching new production facilities. We created the Free Port of Vladivostok, the area with unique customs and tax regime. We are implementing large-scale social, infrastructural, educational and scientific programmes and projects, aimed at supporting export and technological modernization. All this opens wide prospects for partnership, trade and long-term investments, as well as for mastering modern, useful forms and models of cooperation, including those with multilateral structures like EurAsEc, SCO, APEC.”

Great Bustard Exploring Kalmykia’s Steppe
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, VNII Ecologia, the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, the Roscongress Foundation and Kamchatka Falcon Centre, with the participation of experts and foundations from the Gulf countries, continue to work on the implementation of the order of the President of the Russian Federation and the comprehensive action plan for the establishment of Russian centres for the reintroduction and conservation of falconiform birds in Kamchatka Territory and bustards in the Republic of Kalmykia.

2nd Falcon Day International Forum Dates Announced
The Organizing Committee of the 2nd Falcon Day International Forum met in Moscow under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Viktoria Abramchenko. The meeting was attended by representatives of the federal executive authorities and regional heads of the Russian Federation.

Concerts by the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra and virtuoso pianist, People’s Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev will be held at the Vladivostok Seasons Culture Festival as part of the Eastern Economic Forum 2024. The Eastern Economic Forum 2024 is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
