A special stamp featuring a tiger will be issued for the 2nd International Tiger Forum, which will be held on 5 September 2022 in Vladivostok.

A special stamp redemption ceremony will be held on 5 September 2022 at 10 a.m. at the central venue of the Far East Street’ exhibition, which is hosted by the Eastern Economic Forum. The ceremony is expected to be attended by Konstantin Chuychenko, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, Maxim Akimov, Chief Executive Officer of Russian Post, and foreign official delegations from countries which are home to the tiger.

In addition, a postmark of the first day will be produced with a fixed date for redemption only on the day of issue of the stamp.

A stylized gift set will also be produced for the event, comprising an envelope of the first day, and a sheet with four stamps and a maximum card, which is a stylized postcard with a postage stamp and postmark. 200 such sets will be given out to participants and guests of the Forum.

The stamp will draw additional attention to the environment and the protection of tigers and will help raise awareness about the work carried out by the international community.

The Forum is an influential platform that brings together representatives of the international community who are working to protect the tiger population around the world, and the memento gifts are a symbol of our joint work to achieve this goal,” Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
