The grand opening of the innovation carousel of the Territory of Innovations project took place on 12 September 2018 in Vladivostok as part of the fourth Eastern Economic Forum.
The Territory of Innovations is a platform for dialogue and the discussion of trends with leading experts that will help innovators evaluate the prospects for their development. The project aims to support young scientists, inventors, and developers and helps to form a generation of technological entrepreneurs in Russia.
“To ensure Russia’s competitiveness in the long term, an innovative ecosystem should be created that will become the technological, regulatory, and cultural basis for future development. The Territory of Innovations project, which was first presented at SPIEF 2018, will become an important part of the programme of the fourth Eastern Economic Forum and will contribute to the development of technological entrepreneurship and the digital economy in Russia”, Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.
The event’s programme consists of a series of business sessions with Russian and international investors, the senior management of large corporations, and representatives of investment and venture funds. They learn about projects to find startups for investment. The creators of the most promising projects will be able to directly communicate with representatives of development institutions.

Amur Region Government Discusses Preparations for AmurExpo 2024
Members of the Amur Region government discussed preparations for the Russian-Chinese AmurExpoForum 2024, which will take place on 24–26 May on both banks of the Amur River. For the second year in a row, based on instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Forum will serve as an offsite platform of the Eastern Economic Forum. The Forum will be organized with the support of the Roscongress Foundation.
