On 4 September 2019, at the Eastern Economic Forum, the Roscongress
Foundation and the Association of Lawyers of Russia signed a trilateral
agreement on cooperation with the administration of the Nenets Autonomous Area.
Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander
Stuglev, Managing Director and Chief of Staff, member of the board of ALRF
Stanislav Alexandrov and Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Area Alexander
Tsybulsky signed the agreement.
The agreement’s objective is to expand investment opportunities, develop
the export potential of the region and support its socially significant
projects.
At the signing ceremony, Alexander Stuglev noted, “Through cooperation
between the three parties, the agreement aims to increase the investment
attractiveness and export potential of the Nenets Autonomous Area, promote
emerging investment and export projects of the region to the domestic and
foreign markets”.
For his part, Managing Director and Chief of Staff, member of the board
of ALRF Stanislav Alexandrov, said, “Establishing a partnership with the
Administration of the Nenets Autonomous Area is to facilitate the improvement
of legislation and lay the groundwork of the rule-of-law state”.
The Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Area Alexander Tsybulsky noted
that the signed document is significant for the region. It is to promote
investment projects through the international and regional partner network of
the Roscongress Foundation, which includes investment funds, associations of
industrialists and entrepreneurs, international government commissions and
business councils, trade missions and economic departments of the Russian
embassies and legal professionals abroad, embassies and foreign trade missions
in the Russian Federation.

The
Eastern Economic Forum is an annual event established by Decree of the
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin No.250 of 19 May 2015 to
support the economic development of Russia’s Far East and to expand
international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. The Eastern Economic
Forum 2019 will take place on 4–6 September in Vladivostok on the Far Eastern
Federal University (FEFU) campus on Russky Island.
