5th Russia–China Media Forum to Be Held at EEF 2019

The 5th RussiaChina Media Forum will be held on 3 September on the side-lines of the Eastern Economic Forum 2019. Representatives from the two countries leading media outlets and companies, Internet platforms, and other industry-related organizations will be participating in the Media Forum. The Russian delegation will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Chief of the Government Staff Konstantin Chuychenko.

Forum participants will discuss issues surrounding media interaction, such as media collaboration in the digital environment, content sharing, the creation of joint information products, professional standards, and the protection of personal data in the new media era.

Russian-Chinese media forums are traditionally held on the side-lines of major international events. In 2017, the 3rd RussiaChina Media Forum was held in Moscow as part of Chinese President Xi Jinpings visit to the Russian Federation. In 2018, the 4th Media Forum was held in Shanghai as part of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedevs visit to China.

The 5th Anniversary Eastern Economic Forum will be taking place on 46 September in Vladivostok.
