The 4th Eastern Economic Forum to Discuss the Role of Youth in the Development of the Far East

Discussion of the role of youth in the social and economic development of the Far East will be a part of the business programme of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum that will be held in Vladivostok on 11–13 September.

According to expert opinion, youth entrepreneurship can strongly ramp up the economic growth of the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.

Young people from different regions of Russia: students, entrepreneurs, members of public organizations and movements, together with representatives of state authorities, expert communities and large businesses, will consider the potential of youth in the development of the macroregion at the Youth of the Far East session.

Particularly, issues such as attracting young people to the Far East, the contribution of young businessmen to the gross regional product, their participation in the implementation of strategic projects of the Far Eastern Federal District, facilitation of youth entrepreneurship and the development of cross-border business ties with the participation of young people will be touched upon.

Representatives of federal ministries and agencies, including the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, regional authorities, Russian and foreign public organizations, as well as the business community are expected to participate in the discussion.
