The EEF 2021 online session ‘How to Turn the Far East into Asia’s Largest Exporter of Experiences’ will take place on 10 August at 09:00 Moscow time. The event is being initiated by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Roscongress Foundation.
At present, there is clear demand among Russian tourists for vacations in the regions of the Far East. In addition, the macro-region is attracting more and more attention from foreign tourism business. How can we realize the potential of the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District? What instruments will help attract investments and accelerate the development of infrastructure? How should we promote the sights of the Far East and include them in international tourism routes? The participants in the online session will discuss these and other questions. The results of the discussion will form the basis of a thematic section of the business programme of the 6th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on 2–4 September.

Russia and Bahrain Look to Intensify Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation
Advisor to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov held a meeting in Moscow with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation Ahmed Al-Saati, during which the two officials discussed a wide range of issues concerning economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and reached a number of agreements.

Great Bustard Exploring Kalmykia’s Steppe
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, VNII Ecologia, the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, the Roscongress Foundation and Kamchatka Falcon Centre, with the participation of experts and foundations from the Gulf countries, continue to work on the implementation of the order of the President of the Russian Federation and the comprehensive action plan for the establishment of Russian centres for the reintroduction and conservation of falconiform birds in Kamchatka Territory and bustards in the Republic of Kalmykia.

Concerts by the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra and virtuoso pianist, People’s Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev will be held at the Vladivostok Seasons Culture Festival as part of the Eastern Economic Forum 2024. The Eastern Economic Forum 2024 is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
