OOO Vladivostoksky Liftovy Zavod signs an agreement with AO Far East Development Corporation on doing business on the territory of Free Port Vladivostok, informs Parliamentary Far East Gazette.
They will soon start assembling hi-tech passenger and freight lift for civil and commercial residential buildings. The company aims to produce both business-class and budget-class lifts equal in quality to advanced analogues made abroad.
“Meanwhile, as in many other regions of Russia, every second lift in the Primorsky Region has already been in service for 25 years and needs to be replaced. This is a matter of people’s safety, so launching lift production in Russia is extremely relevant. Our plant will be equipped at a state-of-the-art level; furthermore we’ll erect a 30-metre testing shaft tower for two lifts, the only one in Russia’s Far East”, said Managing Director of OOO Vladivostoksky Liftovy Zavod Evgeny Nechay.
By 2025, the company plans to put out 1,000 lifts a year and to create 47 new jobs. Total investment is estimated at RUB 77 m.

Moscow discussed promoting the potential of the Republic of Kalmykia for its development
A meeting between Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, and Batu Khasikov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, was held in Moscow to discuss the implementation of a number of key projects and programmes designed to create a long-term basis for the structural development of the economy of the Republic of Kalmykia and the Caspian region.

2nd Falcon Day International Forum Dates Announced
The Organizing Committee of the 2nd Falcon Day International Forum met in Moscow under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Viktoria Abramchenko. The meeting was attended by representatives of the federal executive authorities and regional heads of the Russian Federation.
