The Relocation and Adaptation Support Service offers assistance with relocation as well as adaptation to a new workplace and social environment to each employee invited to the region, the Agency for the Development of Human Capital announced in a press release.
Since its launch four months ago, the Relocation and Adaptation Support Service of the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East processed more than 550 applications from people wishing to relocate or find work in the region. The Service is currently running in Vladivostok, Khabarosvsk, Blagoveshchensk, and Moscow and will have a presence in all subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District by the end of the year.
“The majority of our work in assisting new arrivals to the region concerns relocation, access to support measures, starting businesses, living conditions and the infrastructure of the Far Eastern regions,” said Pavel Ignatiev, First Deputy Director General of the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East.
Over 80 new residents in the region and more than 100 employees invited by their employers are currently adapting to life in the Far East. All of them will be provided with assistance when settling into the new location, including with accessing healthcare, education, employment for family members, and leisure activities. The adaptation programme begins from the moment the decision is taken to relocate and continues for three years.

Bahrain Joins Framework Declaration on Conservation of Gyrfalcons
The Kingdom of Bahrain has become the seventh country to join the Declaration of Intent for the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon Population. The document was adopted by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and the UAE as part the Falcon Day International Forum, which was first held in Vladivostok during the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. The event was managed by the Roscongress Foundation.

Selection Underway for Third Installment of Far East State Management Personnel Training Programme
The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic has teamed up with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation to implement the ‘Muravyov-Amursky 2030’ management programme, providing training for the civil service and development institutions of the Far East.

Preparations for EEF 2024 Underway
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev held the first preparatory meeting for the 9th Eastern Economic Forum. Topics included in the agenda range from future technologies and the development of transport infrastructure to the modernization of energy systems.
