4th Eastern Economic Forum to Present Russky Technopark’s Achievements

Achievements of Russky Technopark will be presented at the 4th Eastern Economic Forum that will take place in Vladivostok on 11–13 September.

The need for a start-up support system on Russky Island was first announced by President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the 2nd Eastern Economic Forum in 2016. A year later, the EEF 2017 hosted the opening ceremony of Russky Technopark, as well as the signing ceremony of the agreement between the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and the Skolkovo Foundation.

Since September 2017, 65 companies from 6 Far Eastern regions have become residents of the Technopark. All the residents are actively developing innovative projects that involve FEFU students, postgraduates and teachers.

The presentation of Russky Technopark achievements, as well as participation of its residents in the EEF 2018 is expected to enhance Russian and foreign investments to build a technology entrepreneurship domain and an innovation park, as stated in the Concept for Russky Island Development, approved by the Government of Russia.
