ALEKSANDR GALUSHKA INVITED REPRESENTATIVES OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA TO PARTICIPATE IN EEF

The presentation of new investment opportunities in the Far East during Eastern Economic Forum were discussed by Russia’s Far East Development Minister Aleksandr Galushka and South Korean Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation, Park Ro-byug. During the course of the meeting, the Minister informed the guest about the creation of areas of advanced social and economic development in the Far Eastern macro region, and about the adoption of the Law on the Free Port of Vladivostok by the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. “These projects allow us to make it profitable and safe to do business in the Far East. Investors will learn about the advantages of the areas of advanced development and the Free Port during Eastern Economic Forum”, noted Aleksandr Galushka. According to the Minister, domestic and foreign investors took great interest in East Russian Economic Forum. More than 400 participants have been registered already – one third of the scheduled share. Aleksandr Galushka invited South Korean partners to participate in EEF and discuss the current issues of development of the bilateral economic cooperation. According to Aleksandr Galushka, an official invitation to Eastern Economic Forum will also be sent to representatives of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
