Vladivostok International Airport Ready to Welcome EEF Guests and Participants

Vladivostok International Airport is ready for the guests and participants of the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. With the support of the Roscongress Foundation, Primorye’s air harbour has implemented all the necessary measures and has accreditation points for Forum delegates and volunteer groups up and running.

It is the eighth time Vladivostok Airport will serve as the air gateway to the Far East’s premier business event, the Eastern Economic Forum, scheduled for 10–13 September in Vladivostok with a theme calling all to take ‘The Path to Partnership, Peace, and Prosperity’.

“We all understand the scale of the event and its significance for the country, and we are getting ready to welcome all our distinguished guests. I would like to emphasize that Vladivostok Airport is the only airport in the Far Eastern Federal District with experience servicing high ranking dignitaries and official delegations. It should be noted that all flights will continue to operate as scheduled during the Forum with passenger service to be uninterrupted,” Director General of Vladivostok International Airport Denis Chmutov said.

To provide EEF guests and participants with the best possible service, Primorye’s air harbour was thorough in carrying out readiness checks on all technological systems. Special vehicles, technological equipment, and airfield infrastructure were all examined and structural subdivisions switched over to special operating modes, receiving additional personnel.

As for safety, Primorye’s air harbour is fully compliant with Russian transport (aviation) legislation.

With the support of the Roscongress Foundation, accreditation points and check-in desks were opened in the terminal for the convenience of Forum guests and participants and all the necessary directions posted. Finally, to ensure Forum participants receive only the highest quality service, volunteer groups have been organized to help.

In order to comply with all necessary Rospotrebnadzor and World Health Organization safety measures and recommendations to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, EEF 2023 participants, media representatives, and technical staff will be able to undergo PCR testing at Vladivostok Airport beginning 8 September.
