The charity auction will be held 11–13 September at the stand of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation as well as on the official website http://en.helpnature.org/.
The project aimed to support biodiversity conservation programmes in Russia has been promoted since 2015 by the initiative of Yury Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District. The organizers of the Auction are the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation and Expocentre Russian Reserves ANO.
The lots for the auction are traditionally provided by the heads of regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, nature reserves and national parks of the Far East, non-profit organizations, famous Russian cultural, art and sports figures
The special lot of the 2018 auction will be the 10 Natural Wonders Tour of the Far East. Among the wonders are the Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka, the Lena Pillars in Yakutia, the Shantar Islands and other unique natural territories.
Other remarkable lots of the auction include: an exclusive package for participation in the basketball All-Star Game of the VTB United League, participation in a scientific expedition to the Arctic and others.
Art lovers and especially those interested in street art will have a chance to get hold of the lot provided by Sonny, a popular South African artist, who will present 2 autographed paintings. The animals, which he depicts in his unique realistic paintings, already ‘live’ in the streets of New York, Johannesburg, Vladivostok and other cities.
The funds raised will be used to implement environmental projects of the reserves and national parks of the Russian Far East, as well as to implement programmes to conserve the Amur tiger and the Far Eastern leopard population.

Bahrain Joins Framework Declaration on Conservation of Gyrfalcons
The Kingdom of Bahrain has become the seventh country to join the Declaration of Intent for the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon Population. The document was adopted by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and the UAE as part the Falcon Day International Forum, which was first held in Vladivostok during the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. The event was managed by the Roscongress Foundation.

Moscow discussed promoting the potential of the Republic of Kalmykia for its development
A meeting between Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, and Batu Khasikov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, was held in Moscow to discuss the implementation of a number of key projects and programmes designed to create a long-term basis for the structural development of the economy of the Republic of Kalmykia and the Caspian region.

Great Bustard Exploring Kalmykia’s Steppe
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, VNII Ecologia, the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, the Roscongress Foundation and Kamchatka Falcon Centre, with the participation of experts and foundations from the Gulf countries, continue to work on the implementation of the order of the President of the Russian Federation and the comprehensive action plan for the establishment of Russian centres for the reintroduction and conservation of falconiform birds in Kamchatka Territory and bustards in the Republic of Kalmykia.
