“Participants in the
Eastern Economic Forum and residents of Vladivostok have an opportunity to
learn about the achievements and unique features of the Far Eastern regions
during the annual ‘Street of the Far East’ exhibition. Muscovites and guests of
the capital can now familiarize themselves with the diversity of the Far
Eastern Federal District during the ‘Days of the Far East’ in Moscow.
Particular attention will be paid to the presentation of the region’s cultural
potential and creative projects”, said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the Russian President
and Executive Secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee.
During Vostok Fashion Day, guests will
view the work of designers who have made a name for themselves with their
collections at Asian Fashion Weeks and whose talent deserves special attention
from the Moscow audience.
Guests will be able to take in
performances by Far Eastern artists as well as view the exhibition ‘Women’s
Images in Contemporary Painting by Artists of the Far Eastern Federal District.
Madonnas of the Far East’. During the 5th Eastern Economic Forum,
the exhibition was held on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University on
Russky Island for the Forum’s guests and participants before moving on to the
Primorsky State Art Gallery for Vladivostok residents after the Forum
concluded.
Vostok Fashion Days 2019 will continue
introducing people to the creative achievements of Far Eastern designers, which
began at the Eastern Economic Forum 2019, when the Far East – Fashion Forpost
fashion show was held on the FEFU campus as part of the Forum’s cultural
programme.
The 6th
Eastern Economic Forum will take place in Vladivostok on 2–5 September 2020.
