Costa Venezia luxury cruise liner will host the participants of the 5th Eastern Economic Forum, which is to take place on 4–6 September in Vladivostok. The brand new ship of the Italian company Costa Crociere S.p.A was launched in March 2019. There are 2,116 comfortable cabins of various categories available to accommodate guests. The rooms located on 14 decks are on the par with a five-star hotel with the highest standards of services.
Costa Venezia holds a specially equipped hall for meetings, a modern wellness complex, a pool with a telescopic glass roof, an indoor football field, a gym, a shopping area, an art and photo gallery, and a mini-museum of Italian football club Juventus.
Restaurants and cafes on board Costa Venezia offer a variety of gastronomic specialities orchestrated by a six Michelin star head chef Umberto Bombana. There are also bars, lounges and a karaoke bar. The main liner show venue was designed after the Venetian Teatro La Fenice.
The liner facilities will be available for the residents of Costa Venezia as well as all the EEF 2019 participants and guests. Several informal Forum events are to take place on board the ship.
In total, the organizers of the 5th Eastern Economic Forum arranged for 8,500 hotel rooms for delegates, journalists and employees of supporting organizations. Of these, 1,700 rooms are available in Vladivostok, over 4,700 more on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University.
Should a need arise, participants can submit a request for the desired hotel indicating a number of rooms, guest full names, a period of stay to booking@forumvostok.ru or fill in a special form in the Hotels section on the official Forum website (forumvostok.ru) before 20 August 2019.

Bahrain Joins Framework Declaration on Conservation of Gyrfalcons
The Kingdom of Bahrain has become the seventh country to join the Declaration of Intent for the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon Population. The document was adopted by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and the UAE as part the Falcon Day International Forum, which was first held in Vladivostok during the 8th Eastern Economic Forum. The event was managed by the Roscongress Foundation.

Great Bustard Exploring Kalmykia’s Steppe
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, VNII Ecologia, the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, the Roscongress Foundation and Kamchatka Falcon Centre, with the participation of experts and foundations from the Gulf countries, continue to work on the implementation of the order of the President of the Russian Federation and the comprehensive action plan for the establishment of Russian centres for the reintroduction and conservation of falconiform birds in Kamchatka Territory and bustards in the Republic of Kalmykia.
