World Expo 2020 in Dubai to Host Series of EEF Offsite Sessions

The Eastern Economic Forum will hold offsite sessions in Dubai on 1418 November as part of the business programme of Russia’s National Pavilion at the World Expo 2020. The eight industry sessions are being organized by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation and the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic with the support of the Roscongress Foundation.

A project for the development of an innovation and technology centre on Russky Island will be presented during a discussion on the theme ‘Changing the Structure of the Economy through Innovation and Digitalization’. Separate sessions will be devoted to prospects for the development of transport infrastructure in the Far East and Arctic, including the Northern Sea Route, as well as ways to expand the region’s flight accessibility for investors and the export potential of the aviation industry.

Other themes include mining, petrochemicals, energy infrastructure, and tourism.

A major highlight of the programme will be a presentation of key investment projects in the Far East and Arctic. Potential investors will be introduced to landmark projects, success stories, and new initiatives.
