Sergei Khovrat Heads Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East

Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East Alexander Kozlov introduced the new Director General to the staff of the Agency on 30 May 2018, the Ministry for the Russian Far East Development reports.

In his introductory speech for the new Director General of the Agency, the Head of the Ministry for the Russian Far East Development thanked the team and its previous leader Valentin Timakov for the work done since 2015 and noted even more ambitious tasks faced the department.

“Today we are facing new challenges. The issue of qualified personnel is of an utmost importance. The Agency’s task is to summarize the investor’s personnel requirements and together with the customer (and by the customer I mean the investor) and the educational institutions meet the demand,” said Alexander Kozlov.

He also added that an equally important area of the Agency’s work is the support of the Far Eastern Hectare programme.

Previously, Sergei Khovrat held the office of the Minister of Land and Property Relations of Amur Oblast, and in 2013–2015 was the Head of the Department of the Federal Migration Service for Amur Oblast.
