120,000 jobs to be created in Far East by 2025

The Far East expects to attract more than 1,100 new investment projects by 2025, creating over 120,000 thousand jobs, Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East Sergey Kachayev said on Wednesday.

Kachayev noted that 89 new enterprises were set up in the Far East in 2017 as roughly RUB 120 billion in investment was attracted and assimilated and more than 7,000 jobs were created.
