The main theme of the Eastern
Economic Forum 2024, which will be held in Vladivostok on 3–6 September, has
been announced. The Forum is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
“The Eastern Economic Forum is one
of the most important platforms for developing cooperation in the Asia-Pacific
region. The main theme of the Forum this year is ‘Far East 2030. Joining
Forces, Creating Opportunities’. The Forum participants, including
representatives of Russian and foreign government agencies, entrepreneurs, and
leading experts, will discuss strategic prospects for cooperation amidst the
new multipolar world, in which one of the key centres is undoubtedly the
Asia-Pacific region. I firmly believe that only by combining the efforts of all
stakeholders will new opportunities and prospects be created for the entire
macro-region," Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of
the EEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.
The Eastern Economic Forum will be
held on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University. The Forum’s business
agenda will be complemented by the Vladivostok Seasons Festival and a sports
programme. Per tradition, the ‘Far East Street’ exhibition will be held, where
visitors will have an opportunity to learn about the cultural, economic, and
innovative potential of the Far Eastern regions. The 2nd Falcon Day
International Forum will take place on the opening day of the EEF.
