The Procedure for the Entry of Foreign Participants of EEF 2021 into Russia Has Been Approved

The Operational Headquarters for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 in the Russian Federation, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, has approved the entry procedure for foreign participants of the 6th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), to be held on 2–4 September in Vladivostok. The rules of entry are based on the procedure that was successfully tested at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021.

Citizens of foreign countries who will take part in the Forum can obtain a Russian visa with an invitation to the EEF. With this document, on the day of application, participants can apply for a short-term single-entry visa to enter Russia in the country's consular offices around the world.

Foreign participants of EEF 2021 do not need to quarantine upon arrival in Russia. To cross the border, a foreign citizen must have a valid passport and visa (if a visa is required to enter Russia), a copy of an invitation letter to the EEF (or a visa support letter), and a medical insurance policy valid in Russia. Arrivals must also have a document confirming the negative result of a PCR test for COVID-19 taken no more than 72 hours before arrival, in Russian or English.

Detailed information on the procedure for entry into Russia for foreign participants of the EEF 2021 is available on the Forum's official website.
