EEF Offsite Session to Present Key Investment Projects in Russia’s Far East and Arctic at World Expo 2020 in Dubai

The Eastern Economic Forum will hold an offsite session titled ‘Key Projects of the Far East and Arctic’ at 16:00 (Moscow time) on 16 November 2021 as part of the business programme of Russia’s National Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. The session is being organized by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation and the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic with the support of the Roscongress Foundation.

This key event of the business programme of Russia’s National Pavilion in Dubai will give potential investors a chance to learn about landmark investment projects that are being implemented with private capital in the Far East and Arctic, success stories, existing business support mechanisms, and new government initiatives to improve the investment climate.

During the session, experts will answer some of the most pressing questions for investors: What can the Far East and Arctic offer investors? What government support can foreign investors obtain? Are investors ready today to join the competition for a highly profitable opportunity to manufacture strategic types of products in the Russian Far East and Arctic?

The meeting will feature presentations by Far East and Arctic Development Corporation Deputy General Director for Investments Roman Chichkanov, Kamchatka Territory Governor Vladimir Solodov, Deputy Chairman of the Amur Region Government Pavel Puzanov, Chairman of the Russian-Emirates Business Council and Rosgeo Director General and Chairman of the Board Sergey Gorkov, Kolmar Chairman of the Board of Directors Anna Tsivileva, KAZ Minerals Executive Director Georgy Fotin, and other experts.

Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Alexey Chekunkov will give an opening address to the participants via teleconference. The event will be moderated by First Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Gadzhimagomed Khuseynov.

The 7th Eastern Economic Forum will take place on 5–8 September 2022 on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. The 2nd International Tiger Conservation Forum will take place on the opening day of the EEF 2022 on 5 September. The event is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
