The Roscongress Foundation will support initiatives of young Russian industrialists

At the 8th Eastern Economic Forum, the Roscongress Foundation and the Interregional Union ‘Club of Young Industrialists’ signed a cooperation agreement. The parties agreed to work together in implementing federal, regional and sectoral programmes for the development and support of industrialists, building a constructive dialogue between representatives of government authorities, public organizations and businesses.

The document was signed by Alexander Stuglev, CEO of the Roscongress Foundation, and Anton Kovalev, Chairman of the Club of Young Industrialists. Andrey Reut, First Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation, also took part in the ceremony.

“Supporting and developing the youth agenda of convention and business events organized by the Roscongress Foundation is one of the key priorities of its work. We create industry-specific communication platforms for interaction between all stakeholders. Working with young people in the face of modern challenges, developing mentoring institutions, and creating conditions for implementing new projects are investments in Russia’s future, strengthening its industrial, technological and, of course, intellectual sovereignty. Effective communication at all levels of product creation or project implementation determines how quickly Russian industry will be restored and restarted. Cooperation with the Club of Young Industrialists has a great potential, which will be realized within the framework of the signed Agreement to create such communication,” said Andrey Reut, First Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation.

The parties identified mutual areas of responsibility in preparing and holding joint congress and exhibition events, including consulting and expert support, assistance in establishing partnerships and business contacts with governmental and non-governmental organizations, representatives of scientific, business and creative circles in Russia.

“The Club of Young Industrialists is increasingly active in events organized by Roscongress: it initiates and holds discussions on important topics for industrial growth at industry platforms, including with the participation of authorities. The Club’s experts, as well as its members – young owners and managers of developing enterprises – give first-hand accounts of what tasks they are solving and what problems they are facing. As a result of such communications, new effective solutions emerge in the country and new projects get successful. We have been holding sessions at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum for four years now, and we are grateful to the Foundation for the high level of organization. This year, for the first time, we joined the International Economic Forum ‘Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2023’. These days, the Club took part in the Eastern Economic Forum for the first time. There is more interaction ahead,” shared Anton Kovalev, Chairman of the Club of Young Industrialists.

Joint work of the organizations will also include methodological, research, scientific, educational and other assistance, including sharing of practice and information within the framework of implementation of programmes for promotion of joint economic and social conventions and exhibition events.

The Interregional Union ‘Club of Young Industrialists’ unites managers of enterprises under 40 years of age. Club member companies are small and medium-sized enterprises with annual revenues of between RUB 120 million and 2 billion and a headcount of less than 250 employees. The Chairman of the Club’s Board of Trustees is Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. At present, the Club is comprised of the heads of more than 100 companies from 38 regions of Russia.

The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events.
