The Roscongress Foundation signed a cooperation
agreement with the Federal Research Institute for
Health Organization and Informatics of the Ministry of Health of the
Russian Federation (FRIHOI) for the organization of joint healthcare congress
and exhibition events.
Joint efforts will focus in particular on the organization and holding
of the Ministry of Health of Russia’s flagship event, the ‘National Healthcare
2023’ National Congress with International Participation.
The document was
signed by First Deputy CEO for Development and Director of the Healthcare
Directorate of the Roscongress Foundation Anastasia Stolkova and Director of
the Federal Research Institute for Health Organization and
Informatics of the Ministry of Health of the Russian
Federation Olga Kobyakova. The signing ceremony took place at the Eastern
Economic Forum.
“The event is
being organized by the Roscongress Foundation for the second time and is of great
social, strategic, and national significance as a highlight of international
healthcare events, and it will be attended by industry representatives from the
89 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, foreign delegations, and
leading Russian and international experts. The Congress will
serve as a communication platform for everyone in the industry and will gather
together issues of the utmost importance to the national and international healthcare
agendas,” said Anastasia Stolkova,
First Deputy CEO for Development and Director of the Healthcare Directorate of
the Roscongress Foundation.
“The first ‘National Healthcare’ National Congress
with International Participation was held in Moscow in 2022. The event proved
to be of great interest to the expert community and those involved in healthcare
and quickly established itself as a landmark healthcare industry event. I am sure
that the agreement we’ve signed and the expertise of the Roscongress Foundation
will make this year’s event even more significant and that we will create a
platform for discussing vital issues facing the healthcare industry and develop
specific solutions for its development conducive to achieving national goals
and priorities in the interests of the health of the people,” said Olga Kobyakova, Director of the FRIHOI.
The document also calls
for joint efforts to create congress event programmes as well as information cooperation
on the coverage of Russian Ministry events in the media at home and abroad.
