On the sidelines of the PowerTrends 2023 conference in Manila, Philippines, representatives of the Roscongress Foundation met with Leverage International (Consultants) Inc. of the Philippines.
The topic of the conversation was future cooperation on the promotion of major business events of the Roscongress Foundation, in particular the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Eastern Economic Forum and Russian Energy Week.
“We have been successfully cooperating with the Philippine-Russian Business Assembly (PRBA) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) for many years. However, increased face-to-face contacts between the business communities of the two countries will contribute to the development of trade and economic relations. The potential for increasing Russian-Philippine trade and investment is great, especially in agriculture, tourism, energy,” noted Alexander Stuglev, CEO and Chairman of the Roscongress Foundation.
Equally important was the signing of an agreement between the Roscongress Foundation and Leverage International (Consultants) Inc.
The document was signed by Alexander Stuglev, Chairman and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation, and Cecilia Sanchez, Chairperson and CEO of Leverage International (Consultants) Inc.
“Leverage International (Consultants) Inc.’s expertise in research, planning, technical management and marketing of international trade shows and business meetings will maximize business opportunities for Philippine and Russian businessmen,” said Cecilia Sanchez.
The agreement provides for cooperation between the parties in establishing effective communication between the Russian and Philippine expert communities and business circles.

Great Bustard Exploring Kalmykia’s Steppe
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, VNII Ecologia, the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, the Roscongress Foundation and Kamchatka Falcon Centre, with the participation of experts and foundations from the Gulf countries, continue to work on the implementation of the order of the President of the Russian Federation and the comprehensive action plan for the establishment of Russian centres for the reintroduction and conservation of falconiform birds in Kamchatka Territory and bustards in the Republic of Kalmykia.

Amur Region Government Discusses Preparations for AmurExpo 2024
Members of the Amur Region government discussed preparations for the Russian-Chinese AmurExpoForum 2024, which will take place on 24–26 May on both banks of the Amur River. For the second year in a row, based on instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Forum will serve as an offsite platform of the Eastern Economic Forum. The Forum will be organized with the support of the Roscongress Foundation.
