Amur Region is preparing for the ‘Far East Street’ exhibition which will be held on 3–8 September as part of the Eastern Economic Forum
2019. The theme of this year’s exhibition will be the Region’s export potential and the effects of big investment
projects on the development of the area.
Amur Region will present a three-level pavilion. Its
design will include shipping containers, export being the major inspiration.
The first level will be dedicated to the gas and chemical industry in Amur Region. The visitors will learn about the gas and chemistry cluster located in
Svobodnensky District. One can track the crude gas all the way from the
Chagoyan gas field to the Amur Gas Processing Plant and to the gas and
chemistry cluster via the Power of Siberia pipeline, and afterwards to the
enterprises that will use gas products.
The second level will all be covered with a media façade that will be presenting information on the transboundary agglomeration Blagoveschchensk–Heihe both inside and outside. Using the touch panel to make figures and visualized objects appear on the
screen, the visitors will see the progress made by Amur Region within the past
5 years as well as the forecast up to 2035. Besides, it will show how Amur
Region benefits from the highway bridge over the Amur River and the
Blagoveshchensk–Heihe cable car, that will only take 10 minutes to get from Russia to
China.
The third level will house a meeting area with the desk for signing agreements, and an exhibition of the best photos from industrial
construction in the Region.
The exhibition area will also feature a separate
pavilion presenting the best goods from Amur Region exporters including
agricultural products. The small stage outside the exhibition site will host
all-day-long interactive events and concerts. The Ap! children’s circus and the Strekoza dance studio, soloists of
the Amur Regional Philharmonic Society, and the Blokada Serdtsa rock band will
be entertaining the visitors. The programme will also include interactive
areas, a ‘Cat Quiz’ mind game, and the participants of the first day can take part in a
quest on the history of the Far East and Amur Region.
