Passenger Flow at Khabarovsk Airport Increases by 10% to 2 Million in 2017

Passenger flow at Khabarovsk Novy Airport has increased by 10% to 2 million in 2017. International flights showed the biggest passenger flow increase since the start of 2017 – the number of passengers went up by 33% compared to 2016 and totalled almost 354 thousand. Such growth was favoured by high demand for charter flights to the Asia-Pacific countries. In 2017, Khabarovsk Airport’s traditional international charter flights were supplemented by new flights to Yangyang and Jeonju in South Korea.

More than 1 million 693 thousand passengers took domestic flights. The number of passengers on Khabarovsk – Moscow flights saw an increase; more people were travelling by air to Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar and many other cities. The passenger flow on these flignts in 2017 increased by 20%.
