New Dates of Eastern Economic Forum 2023

The 8th Eastern Economic Forum will be held on 12–15 September 2023 on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. The central event of the EEF 2023 – the plenary session – is scheduled for 14 September 2023. The events are organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

“The decision to change the dates of the Eastern Economic Forum is linked to the schedule of international events. We are expecting the participation of foreign leaders and high-level guests. The EEF has established itself as an effective communication platform aimed at the intensive development of the economy of the Far East and the expansion of international cooperation in Asia Pacific. Today, the influence of the Russian Far East on the development of our country has grown considerably. The Eastern direction is becoming the main area for strengthening the country’s economy and increasing its export potential. The 8th Eastern Economic Forum will be held at the most representative level,” noted Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee.

Traditionally, an extensive cultural programme will be prepared for guests and residents of the Far East. At the ‘Far East Street’ exhibition, regions of the Far Eastern Federal District will present their best projects, unique crafts and distinctive cuisine, while the Vladivostok Seasons Festival will take place in key venues of Vladivostok.

The Eastern Economic Forum 2022 brought together over 7,000 participants from 68 countries and territories, including Russia. Among them are 1,700 business representatives from 700 companies. On the sidelines of the Forum, 296 agreements worth a total of RUB 3.272 trillion were signed.
