The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, is holding an open selection among young entrepreneurs, managers, and opinion leaders in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District on 2–6 August 2021.
The selection aims to assemble a youth delegation that will participate in the 6th Eastern Economic Forum. This year, the event will be held in a hybrid format on 2–4 September in Vladivostok in compliance with all the requirements of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing. The venue is the campus of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).
Young entrepreneurs, managers, opinion leaders, and representatives of creative industries, as well as government and non-profit organizations that contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial and social environment are invited to participate in the selection. The age requirement is 18–35 years old inclusive.
All the participants in the selection will be invited to the youth community of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation. The ones that pass the selection will receive accreditation for the youth programme of the 6th Eastern Economic Forum and assistance in organizing their trip to Vladivostok.
Each year, the Forum includes events that involve young people who are interested in the development of the Far Eastern Federal District and are willing to participate in coming up with solutions that aim to improve the quality of life in their region.
In 2021, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, together with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, and the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, will assemble a delegation of young entrepreneurs who will be able to attend the panel sessions of the Forum’s main programme on 2–3 September and serve as speakers and participants in discussions as part of the special youth programme on 4 September. They are also scheduled to meet with the leaders of the Far Eastern Federal District, federal ministries, and other agencies.

In the questionnaire, you should provide detailed information about yourself and also propose a project or essay on the topic: ‘New Opportunities for the Far East in a Changed World’. The participant’s project or idea should be related to the development of the Far East. It can be an existing or planned business, a social/creative project, a description of a new state support measure or a proposal for the development of a territory.

Russia and Bahrain Look to Intensify Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation

2nd Falcon Day International Forum Dates Announced
The Organizing Committee of the 2nd Falcon Day International Forum met in Moscow under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Viktoria Abramchenko. The meeting was attended by representatives of the federal executive authorities and regional heads of the Russian Federation.
