The winners of
the latest stage of the Business Priority Technology Startups Competition will
be announced at the 5th Eastern Economic Forum as part of the
Innovation Space project. The Roscongress Foundation is holding the competition
jointly with the Far East High Technology Fund and the Russky Technology Park
with the support of the Primorye Territory administration. The Business
Priority project aims to develop an innovative market in Russia and promote
prominent Russian technological solutions on the global market.
Applications
are currently being accepted to take part in the competition. High-tech
startups that are registered in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) or are
presenting innovative products that can be utilized in the FEFD are eligible to
submit their projects. The seven best projects will receive Business Priority
status, which will enable these startups to integrate into the ecosystem of the
Roscongress Foundation, which encompasses all sectors of the economy, levels of
government, and development institutions as well as receive the necessary
support to work with investors and promote their projects.
A pitch
session will be held at the EEF 2019 during which startups with Business
Priority status will be able to present their projects to investors and
customers from the government and business. The results of the Business
Priority contest will be announced at the end of the pitch session and the best
projects will receive awards.
In addition,
the EEF Innovation Space will feature a special event that aims to accelerate
startups with the participation of experts, business coaches, investors,
government officials, and CEOs from major industrial companies and corporations
in the real sector of the economy. As part of the event, participants in the
Business Priority contest will be able to learn how to enhance the investment
value of their projects as well as clarify possible formats and conditions for
commercial interaction with potential investors.
The 5th
Eastern Economic Forum will take place in Vladivostok on 4–6 September.
