VLADIMIR PUTIN INVITED REPRESENTATIVES OF SCO COUNTRIES TO EASTERN ECONOMIC FORUM

During the press conference outlining the results of BRICS and SCO summits, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin invited foreign investors to participate in Eastern Economic Forum. “On this occasion, I would like to invite representatives of SCO countries, first of all the business community representatives, to participate in Eastern Economic Forum – it will be held for the first time ever this year in September in Vladivostok”, noted the head of state. In addition to Russia, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization includes China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. On July 10, the international organization decided to admit new members – India and Pakistan. Belarus became an observer in the SCO. Countries such as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, and Nepal will become dialogue partners.
