The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will present its ‘Made in Yakutia’ Pavilion at the ‘Far East Street’ exhibition, which will be held on 3–8 September as part of the 5th Eastern
Economic Forum,
The pavilion will be oval in shape, and its facades
will bear ornaments and symbols of the peoples of Yakutia, embodying the beauty,
identity, and brightness of the republic.
Investment and innovative projects implemented in the
region will be presented inside the Yakutia Pavilion. An individual interactive
stand has been developed for each. Projects include the construction of a bridge
across the Lena River and the creation of a modern river fleet for inland
waterways (Zhatayskaya Shipyard JSC) among others. Also being organized is an
exhibition of the products of residents of the Far East’s first IT park.
The exposition will also look to focus on the
promotion of exclusive tourist brands. In the pavilion VR-zone, guests will be
able to take a virtual tour of the country’s largest region, take in views of the Lena River, and
visit the ‘Winter Begins with Yakutia’ Festival.
What’s more, visitors will be given the chance to get
acquainted with excellent examples of folk art and crafts made of mammoth bone,
exclusive to Yakutia. A surprise also awaits guests – a draw for real Yakut diamonds, open to every
pavilion visitor.
The creators of the exposition are sure that the
Yakutia Pavilion at the ‘Far East Street 2019’ exhibition will attract new investors to the region
and increase tourist flow.
On 3–6 September, the Yakutia Pavilion will be open to EEF
visitors and participants, on 7 September, a social day is planned for large
families, pensioners, veterans, and youth organizations, and on 8 September, it
will be open to all comers.
