Race to Support Rare Animals of the Far East to Be Held at EEF 2019

A race to support rare animals of the Far East will open the second day of the fifth Eastern Economic Forum programme. On 5 September, EEF 2019 participants and residents of the Primorsky Territory will race over distances of 1 and 5 km. The route of the traditional race was changed this year. It will begin at the entrance to the Primorsky Oceanarium and will pass through its picturesque territory.

Russian Minister of Sport Pavel Kolobkov will lead the race. The motto of the race will be ‘Sport as a Way of Life’. This is the name of a federal project that aims to increase the number of Russians who regularly engage in sports to 55% of the country’s total population by 2024.

Forum participants can register for the race in their Personal Web Offices. The shuttle for participants to the Primorsky Oceanarium will depart at 5:10 from the Costa Venezia liner and at 5:50 from the main entrance to FEFU. The media shuttle will leave from FEFU at 6:10.
